About Slow and Steady Coffee

Boutique Neighborhood Specialty CafΓ© serving the best Coffee, Tea, Pastries. Custom apparel and also home brewing equipment

Located at 1805 S Edgefield Ave, Dallas, TX 75224, Slow and Steady Coffee operates as a coffee shop serving Dallas in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6:30 am–3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (972) 885-7343. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, slowandsteady.coffee.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 266 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Dallas and suggests consistent service.

Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dallas follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

What a wonderful experience. This was the place that came up by surprise. We were heading somewhere else. And this is where we ended up. They opened up 7 o'clock promptly, and what a beautiful homie. Atmosphere that it was the service was top 10. The coffee was excellent and the home made pop. Tart, put it over the top, but what I loved about it most was the esthetics. Simple, yet elegant mindful. I promise you you will not regret your visit. Can't wait to go back and try your teas. Keep up the great work

I stumbled upon one of my favorite local coffee shops! As soon as I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by two incredibly friendly and beautiful girls. Since it was my first time there, they were thrilled to recommend a few drinks to me. I decided to try the BFF (banana latte with brown sugar and butter) with espresso, and it was absolutely divine! The ambiance was fantastic. I visited early on a Saturday morning before the rush hour, so it was pleasantly quiet. The cozy and inviting atmosphere is something I truly admire. There’s ample seating and tables available, which is a plus. As a writer, I’ll definitely be returning with my journal! 🀍

I recently stopped by Slow & Steady Coffee in Dallas and tried their guava latte. The drink itself was really goodβ€”great flavor and something a little different from the usual coffee options. The place has a nice vibe and is a good spot to sit and enjoy a drink. The only downside was that the staff didn’t seem very welcoming. The service felt a bit cold, which took away from the overall experience. Still, the coffee was good, so if you’re mainly going for a unique drink like the guava latte, it’s worth trying.

In-house roasts, absolute luxury for a coffee lover like me! 10/10 customer care and ambiance. The staff this afternoon was so warm and pleasant. Very solid price points and thankful to not be sipping overpriced, plastic coffee in the neighborhood. This place is the real deal! So thankful to be within a 15min walk of this gem. The poptart was incredible as the other bites looked, too. I loved the merch and stickers here. The layout is cozy and so approachable. Hope this shop gets the support it needs to succeed and be in the neighborhood for a long time. I’m a forever fan!
